Best £15 I've ever spent

Most incredible voice I've ever heard in my life. Better live than on the album. Will 100% go and see her again. Incredible experience

Spellbound

Eivør was so much more than I hoped for. I was spell bound from start to finish. I was transported to another place, and was utter spellbound. Utterly beautiful - all of it - Eivør, the music and the event!

Magical, Haunting, Unforgetable

After looking forward for ages to seeing Eivor in Manchester we certainly weren't disappointed!! The support act was a girl singer/songwriter guitarist whom we didn't enjoy at all, sorry don't know her name, but later as a guest backing singer for Eivor for two numbers she harmonised brilliantly. And so to Eivor herself.. She took to the stage and quickly and amusingly connected with the packed crowd in her warm endearing way, preceding songs with tales of their origin and meaning. The set list covered a brilliant balanced mix including established Faroese favourites and translated tracks from her latest English Slor album. She delivered these whilst mesmerizing the audience, holding them in awe of her varied phenomenal vocal and instrumental skills. Whether huffing out throaty sounds and beating a Nordic drum, reaching angelic highs backed by her band or rocking a tune while thrashing her guitar this girl has a beautiful magical musical gift. With the help of her brilliant band and outstanding sound engineer this for us was the most amazing, haunting, exciting, totally captivating and memorable concert we have ever experienced or will ever forget. We can't wait to experience that atmosphere again, however, hopefully next time Eivor is here she will play at a more suitable venue such as The Bridgewater Hall or RNCM. The Night and Day Cafe is a bar and wasn't ideal for the many older fans attending that evening. Its directly off the road but lacked enough ventilation for a full capacity gig so became extremely hot for both artist and audience alike even though outside was just -2C that night.

Brilliant from start to finish

Arrived on stage to cheers and left to greater applause. Eivor has a voice second to none. Great connection with the crowd and with Jess the support singer bring on another concert. Thanks for a brilliant night

Absolutely magical

The gig was a very emotional and magical experience. I would definitely recommend seeing her live even if you've not heard much of her music, you won't be disappointed. Such a fantastic vocal range, she's amazing and a lovely warm person.
