WOW!!!

Saw them in their heyday with carter usm, then again supporting carter then again at the garage in Islington. This was a small almost intimate venue and I'd say this was up there with my first experience of them. Happy smiling James Atkin totally captivated the crowd, majority of songs were from Schubert Dip, a great mix/ medley of 90's covers then ended with DM's Just can't get enough before coming back with an encore song. Was hoping it was going to be Long Time but alas no. All the same, I loved it and will catch them again asap

EMF, The Factory, Worthing - 3rd June 2026

They're Here

I saw them at Glastonbury in, well, it doesn't really matter eh.... They are still such a great live band, and Stigma deserved to be massive - I danced like no-one was watching, and it was total joy from start to finish. Big shout for Dictator who supported - nice one!

EMF, The Garage, London - 21st January 2023

Brilliant set, Location and atmosphere

They played covers of London Calling and Just can't get enough, and a speed-up Cover Version of I'm a Believer.

EMF, The Garage, London - 21st January 2023

Formed in 1989 in the quiet town of Cinderford in England’s Forest of Dean, EMF exploded onto the world stage with their fearless blend of dance, rock and pop. Within a year, their hit “Unbelievable” became a global anthem, topping charts and capturing the carefree, creative spirit of the early 1990s. Their debut album Schubert Dip (1991) distilled that energy into one record, while Stigma (1992) and Cha Cha Cha (1995) saw them expand into darker and more introspective territory. Along the way they teamed up with comedians Reeves and Mortimer for a bold cover of “I’m a Believer”, proving their playful, boundary-free approach to music.

After a hiatus that saw the members pursue new creative paths, EMF reignited with a sense of purpose and perspective. Their comeback release Go Go Sapiens (2022) and The Beauty and the Chaos (2024) reaffirmed their knack for anthemic hooks and infectious energy, showing that their spark burns brighter than ever. Honoured in 2025 with a blue plaque in their hometown, EMF remain a vital presence on stage and in the studio — still inventive, still joyful, and still as unforgettable as when they first made the world shout “You’re unbelievable!”.
