Great night, Enjoyable.gig and venue

A fantastic Extc gig performed by Terry and friends. All excellent musicians who faithfully reproduced the original XTC songs. A brilliant evenings entertainment.

EXTC, Ropetackle Arts Centre, Shoreham by Sea - 22nd March 2025

Great Set

Career spanning set from the official Xtc tribute band. Most of the singles plus a few lesser heard album tracks so a nice mix of stuff for the diehard fans and the folks less familiar with the whole back catalogue. Good vibes from the band and we went home happy. Quite a feat to reproduce these songs as a three piece but they nailed it!

Fabulous

I’ve always loved XTC and to see eXTC was amazing with original drummer Terry Chambers, Great sound and great venue playing the old hits.

eXTC, Metronome Nottingham, Nottingham - 12th March 2025

EXTC is the project founded by Terry Chambers, the powerhouse drummer whose work with the influential art-rock band XTC helped shape the sound of post-punk, new wave and, later, Britpop. As a member of XTC from their earliest days, Chambers became known for his inventive, muscular drumming style — a driving force behind songs that pushed the boundaries of British guitar music. With tracks such as “Making Plans for Nigel”, “Senses Working Overtime”, “Dear God” and “Then She Appeared”, XTC became a touchstone for countless artists, celebrated for their sharp songwriting, creativity and refusal to follow trends.

With EXTC, Chambers honours that legacy while bringing a fresh sense of energy and connection to the music he helped create. Joined by a band of seasoned musicians, he delivers performances that capture the spirit, intricacy and wit of the XTC catalogue, all while carving out a distinct identity for the project. Whether revisiting classics or exploring new material, EXTC showcase Chambers’ enduring musicianship and deep-rooted passion for adventurous, melodic rock. It is a celebration not only of where the music came from, but where it can go next.
