Fairport have been around a long time. They have perfected their art and Union Chapel is a good venue.

New songs and the oldies. An amazing performance from the friendliest band I've ever seen!

Great night of music from Fairport Convention who I have been following for over 50 years. Fine selection from their extensive back catalogue of songs & tunes included in their set list performed with skill & humour.

Fairport Convention were very good and treated us to a highly entertaining show. They are talented musicians with a great back catalogue. Union Chapel is an interesting venue - the seats are wooden pews and it isn't the warmest place on a winter's evening. The venue staff were friendly and accommodating. As seating is unreserved, the queues start early.

Fairport Convention, Union Chapel, London - 22nd February 2025
Fairport Convention have been entertaining music lovers for over half a century, having formed in 1967. During that time the band that launched British folk-rock has seen many changes, but one thing has remained the same - Fairport’s passion for performance. This year’s Winter Tour will present a mix of long-established Fairport favourites and some surprises from albums old and new. The band features founding member Simon Nicol on guitar and vocals, Dave Pegg on bass guitar, Ric Sanders on violin, Chris Leslie on fiddle, mandolin and vocals. Fairport will be joined on stage by former member Dave Mattacks on Drums.
