Seen Gemma a few times, this was the best of the lot. Relaxed, and at the top of her game.

Stunning performance in a stunning venue
Gemma Hayes's beautiful vocals did the venue justice. The first song of the setlist "Another" washes over you and takes you to another place, leaving you mesmerized. Next followed a mixture new songs and ones from the 20+ year back catalogue. The crowd almost silent, eager to hear every note from Gemma. There's a reason Gemma Hayes has such a devoted following and a growing fanbase, and it's all for the right reasons.

Gemma Hayes is an Irish singer-songwriter and composer hailing from Ballyporeen, County Tipperary. Renowned for her evocative vocals and proficiency with instruments like the guitar, piano, and harmonica, she has carved a distinctive niche in the alternative rock and folk scenes. Her debut album, Night on My Side (2002), garnered critical acclaim and earned her a Mercury Prize nomination. Subsequent albums, including The Roads Don't Love You (2005), The Hollow of Morning (2008), and Bones + Longing (2014), have solidified her reputation for crafting deeply personal and melodious compositions.
Throughout her career, Hayes has graced numerous UK stages, captivating audiences with her heartfelt performances. In 2023, she sold out London's Omeara, showcasing new material to enthusiastic fans.
