Five stars for, the iconic venue, Alexandra Palace. Five stars for the professional, friendly, helpful staff. Five stars for the pricing of food and drinks, and last but not least five plus stars for the gig itself, Easy Life , a truly great uplifting performance… one of the best gig experiences I’ve enjoyed (and I’ve had a fair few) awesome, awesome, awesome

Hard Life, formerly known as easy life, are a Leicester-born group known for their genre-blending sound and candid lyricism. Fusing elements of indie, R&B, hip hop and jazz, they made waves with their debut album life’s a beach (2021), featuring standout tracks like “nightmares” and “skeletons”. Their second album, maybe in another life… (2022), earned widespread acclaim for its introspective themes and sonic experimentation. The band re-emerged as Hard Life in 2024, marking a bold new chapter with fresh material that stays true to their laid-back yet emotionally honest roots.
Hard Life have become festival favourites across the UK, playing standout sets at Glastonbury, Reading & Leeds and TRNSMT. They've also headlined tours across the country, with packed shows at venues like the O2 Forum Kentish Town and Manchester Academy. Known for their magnetic stage presence and crowd connection, the band have supported acts such as Lewis Capaldi and Kasabian, further cementing their status as one of the UK’s most exciting live acts. With their new identity and renewed creative energy, Hard Life are embracing change while continuing to speak to the heart of a generation.
