Good band to watch live, good songs & very entertaining. Possibly not the ideal venue for this band, despite the fact it was a sell out.

The Hound Dog is a great venue, would definitely go back there. Headsticks were, as always, on top form.

Saturday night in Derby smashed it. Support by Carol Hodge, headliners Headsticks..both ultra professional and talented, total engagement with the audience. Venue spot on too, friendly, sound strong, nice entrance area incl for merch stand.

Surpassed the Blackpool gig in January, which was fantastic. Carol Hodge played a blinder leading into the Headsticks, Muster Set. They returned for Thier second set covering old favourites, with tasters of what's to come later in the year. Keep it up! Did get reprimanded for not going to the Huddersfield gig 30 mins from home, instead travelling 2 hours and spending three days around Derby.

Headsticks are a socially-conscious folk-punk band from Staffordshire, blending politically charged lyrics with rousing melodies. Their powerful messages resonate through albums like Kept in the Dark (2022), which features tracks such as "Red Is the Colour" and "Peace and Quiet."
Headsticks have established themselves as a prominent voice in the UK’s punk scene, performing at festivals including Rebellion and Bearded Theory. Known for their energetic and impassioned live shows, the band’s no-nonsense approach has also led to them supporting legends such as New Model Army and The Levellers on tour.
