Fantastic performance
Despite having a cold, Jalen’s performance was great. You could hear it in his ‘between songs’ voice but his singing voice wasn’t greatly affected - how he keeps those highs is beyond me. Albeit a short set of 75 mins, it was a pleasure to see him again in a different. Off to see & hear him again in May at his instore at Liverpool Rough Trade & Piccadilly Records outstore in Manchester at Night & Day where hopefully I’ll hear more of his new material from his soon to be released new album.
