Keo are an emerging alternative rock band whose sound fuses raw emotion, soaring melodies and modern edge. Fronted by brothers Finn Keogh (vocals, guitar) and Conor Keogh (bass), alongside guitarist Jimmy Lanwern and drummer Oli Spackman, the band’s roots stretch across Plymouth, Portugal, Ireland and the US. Having spent their youth touring with their father’s traditional Irish folk project, the Keogh brothers bring a deep musical heritage to Keo’s bold, contemporary sound. Now based in London, the group have swiftly carved out a place in the UK’s thriving alt-rock scene.

Recorded live to tape at 123 Studios in Peckham with producer Brett Shaw (Foals, Florence + The Machine), their latest single “Fly” (2024) captures Keo’s signature mix of grit and grace — Finn’s raspy vocals and unflinching lyrics building toward an explosive, emotional release. The band’s live performances have earned widespread praise, including a standout opening set at BST Hyde Park alongside Kings of Leon, The Vaccines and Paolo Nutini. With influences ranging from Jeff Buckley and Radiohead to Wunderhorse and Fontaines D.C., Keo deliver a sound that channels the spirit of ’90s alternative rock through a fresh, passionate lens.
