Formed in 2017, Lime Garden are a four-piece indie band made up of Chloe Howard (vocals, guitar), Leila Deeley (guitar), Tippi Morgan (bass) and Annabel Whittle (drums). Emerging from the Guildford and Brighton music scenes, the band quickly gained attention for their vibrant, eclectic sound, blending sharp pop hooks with angular guitar lines and thoughtful, emotionally aware lyricism. Their music balances immediacy with nuance, delivering songs that feel playful, restless and deeply human.

Their debut studio album One More Thing (2024), produced by Ali Chant, captures Lime Garden’s distinctive approach in full. Tracks such as “Nepotism (Baby),” “Love Song,” “I Want to Be You” and “Mother” showcase a band confident in twisting pop structures into something slightly off-kilter yet irresistibly catchy. Describing their sound as “wonk-pop,” Lime Garden embrace the wonky edges of their writing while staying rooted in melody and groove. With a rapid rise in streaming numbers, high-profile support slots alongside IDLES and Yard Act, and a buzzing live reputation, Lime Garden are firmly established as one of the freshest voices in UK indie.
