After a catastrophic afternoon with rail disruption meaning that my plans for a Dad and daughter night out were scuppered, I was thrilled that a mate could take my dad’s ticket and meet me at the venue. He had been reluctant, expecting that it would be a huge hall and was delighted when he found the cabaret layout of the Glee Club, as it made the very personal songs Madeleine sings feel truly intimate. She was backed by four wonderful musicians, who can swing with the best of them and support her ethereal voice as a perfect counterpoint. A lovely, soothing evening after a stressful day!

Madeleine Peyroux, Glee Club Nottingham, Nottingham - 10th July 2019
I originally booked to see Madeleine at The Albert Hall in Nottingham. I booked and payed for 2seats in the second row and was really looking forward to the event. The gig was then switched to The Glee Club and we were assumed we would have reserved seats of equal calibration to the ones booked and payed for. When I arrived at the venue at 7.40pm for the gig at 8pm my partner and I were left with two seats at the back of a “reserved section” for people that had bought similar tickets. How can this be “reserved seats of equal calibration” to the ones I had booked! Madeileine Peyroux was brilliant but 5he night was spoiled by the seating arrangements!

Despite the large venue the show felt very intimate and special. The professionalism of all the performers shone through and what a voice! Thank you for a wonderful evening!

We thoroughly enjoyed our first Madeleine Peyroux gig - the atmosphere was intimate and humorous. All of the performers were first-class.

Madeleine Peyroux, Liverpool Philharmonic Hall, Liverpool - 2nd June 2017
We've admired Madeleine Oetroux since we came across the "careless Love" album so the chance to see her locally couldn't be missed. Absolutely worth the ticket! Relaxed set on stage with her and 2 others, one on double bass, one on electric guitar to accompany her. All the classic Madeleine songs, all personalised plus a tour through her new album. The only disappointment was that she didn't do "between the bars", which is a favourite. Great show.
