Brilliant performance. Fun night.
First time seeing Mason Hill headlining and first time ever for my son. Thoroughly enjoyed the evening & great venue too 👍

Brilliant performance.
It was great to see Mason Hill back on stage again. They absolutely smashed it. They were so good I had to go to see them again on the Friday. An awesome band.

Epic first night of the tour
Great to see the lads back on a stage, Tom, the new singer fits in really well, the new songs went down really well even though we had not heard them before. The old song were just fantastic to hear them live again. If your thinking of checking Mason Hill out ....Don't hesitate they really are on top of the game 🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸

Great opening show
Mason Hill were great. They rocked the socks off the Academy. The new singer fits in well and sounds good, his twist on a couple of the old songs was decent and the new songs we've heard so far have a slightly heavier sound but have been awesome to hear live - cant wait for the release of the full album 😀

Mason Hill are a Scottish hard rock band from Glasgow, founded in 2015 by school friends Scott Taylor (vocals) and James Bird (lead guitar), later joined by Craig McFetridge (drums), Matthew Ward (bass) and Marc Montgomery (guitar). Rising from grassroots beginnings—Matt even paused his degree and Taylor gave up Olympic swimming dreams—the band built their following through relentless live shows, supporting acts like Airbourne and Gun, and appearances at festivals including Download, WinterStorm and the Boardie Takeover Stage.
Their debut album, Against The Wall (2021), made a seismic impact: it reached No 19 in the UK Albums Chart and topped the UK Rock & Metal Chart—the first rock debut to land in the Top 20 since Greta Van Fleet (2018) and the first from a UK act since Royal Blood and Lonely The Brave (2014). Known for their high-octane live performances, the band continues to captivate fans across the UK and Europe, even as they begin a new chapter following Scott Taylor’s departure in 2023 on health grounds.
