Irish comedian Mike Rice has quickly become one of the most exciting new voices on the UK and Irish comedy circuit, known for his razor-sharp storytelling, brilliantly dark humour and gloriously unfiltered takes on modern life. A farmer’s son turned fast-rising stand-up, Rice first cut his teeth in Chicago’s legendary comedy scene before returning home and building a devoted following through viral stand-up clips, podcasts and relentlessly funny live shows.
Since then, he has sold out runs at the Edinburgh Fringe and Perth Fringe, won King Gong at London’s Comedy Store, released his debut comedy special in 2023 and appeared on hugely popular podcasts including Have A Word and Mike & Vittorio’s Guide to Parenting. Equal parts chaotic raconteur and masterful wordsmith, Rice’s live shows blend outrageous true stories, pitch-black observations and irresistible charm into something wildly entertaining.
