Quality pure Quality
Absolutely wonderful performance by Scotland's top band. Neon Waltz totally owned the stage and audience playing a set that included a superb cover of Black boys on mopeds together with their latest single and what are now well established Waltz standards. It was a fantastic night!

Often billed as "Britain's most northerly band", Neon Waltz formed in the far-flung reaches of Caithness and built their reputation the hard way, clocking up countless road miles from their John O'Groats base to reach stages the length and breadth of the country. The four-piece of Jordan Shearer, Darren Coghill and brothers Jamie and Kevin Swanson trade in warm, emotionally charged guitar rock, layering multi-tracked harmonies and windswept atmosphere over melodies built for the singalong.
Their debut album, Strange Hymns (2017), announced them as one of British melodic alternative rock's more distinctive voices, earning critical praise and yielding festival-ready favourites such as "Dreamers" and "Perfect Frame". Second album Honey Now (2023) found the band pared back to four and reaching for a bolder, more adventurous sound. Drawing on influences from The National and The Walkmen to The Band and Grizzly Bear, Neon Waltz have carried their music from their remote Highland home to stages and festivals across the UK, Europe and as far afield as Austin, Texas.
