Took me right back to the 80s when I had the Smash Hits lyrics of Blue Hat sellotaped to my desk lid. Hearing it live was magic!

Nick Heyward, Union Chapel, London - 6th October 2025
I’ve only been to a concert at Union Chapel once before and felt the venue was superb. It was great to be back again to see Nick Heyward and his band who were majestic. Union Chapel makes the concert so intimate and the sound is amazing. The set list, which I managed to get a copy of, put together by Nick Heyward was a mixture of his classic hits and album tracks and also included a new song, a little disappointed he didn’t do Nobody’s Fool but then again he can’t play everything. I highly recommend not only the venue, Union Chapel, but also the artist Nick Heyward. Thank you both for an amazing evening, as Nick would say, it was a Fantastic Day!!!

This wasn't billed as an acoustic event but that wasn't a problem. I've been to Cambridge junction many times before but never seated. It wasn't an issue though as it only added to the intimate feel of the evening. Nick has aged well and his musical abilities are certainly not in question. He played all the old favourites which was terrific but coupled up with the anecdotes he has made the time whizz by and left us wanting more as well as feeling like he was an old mate that you've caught up with. Fantastic!!
