great lesson form a master of photography

I attended an interesting photography class, a genre of photography that is not widely followed or practiced, which is why it was very instructive for me.

Live music in the library

For light night Friday The Robin Hood Youth Orchestra gave a free concert at Nottingham central library. The large orchestra and the audience squeezed into the entry area. No librarians said SHUSH. The RHYO gave a spirited performance; full of enthusiasm and passion. They deserve a bigger audience and venue.

Light Night with the Robin Hood Youth Orchestra, Nottingham Central Library, Nottingham - 6th February 2026

What a joyful , uplifting performance from such talented young musicians.

It was so impressive to see so many young musicians playing and conducting. A great selection of music that kept their audience entertained. Such a range of talent in all sections of the orchestra. These amazing opportunities to develop and nurture creative arts and wider skills are vital for our young people.
