Artist was fully engaged with the crowd which greatly improved the whole experience. Band members were excellent and sound was very clear in such a small venue. Venue staff were very friendly

Seamus Fogarty, The Moth Club, London - 13th March 2026
Seamus Fogarty is a London-based alt-folk songwriter whose work blends storytelling, humour and experimentation into richly detailed songs. Born and raised on Ireland’s west coast and living in London since (2010), his music sits at the crossroads of folk tradition and modern sound design, weaving together narrative lyrics with fragmentary electronics, drones and field recordings. His writing draws on everyday observations and literary references alike, creating songs that feel both intimate and quietly expansive.
His catalogue includes God Damn You Mountain (2012), released via Fence Records, followed by two albums on Domino Records — The Curious Hand (2017) and A Bag of Eyes (2020) — both praised for their inventive approach to contemporary folk. Later releases include the Hee Haw EP (2023) and the album Ships, recorded across London, St Leonards-on-Sea and Margate and featuring a wide cast of collaborators. Alongside recording, Fogarty has built a strong live reputation, touring widely across the UK, Ireland and Europe, appearing at festivals including Green Man, Latitude and End of the Road, and sharing stages with artists such as Lisa O’Neill, This Is The Kit and Beth Gibbons.
