I will not behave myself!

Each tune was linked by spoken word, the whole performance had so much fight and purpose. Brilliantly staged and the band clearly loved playing every number. It was a real insight to a queer life well lived, can’t wait to see where the gun points next.

She Drew The Gun, Village Underground, London - 21st February 2025

Terrific!!

Amazing band, every track a belter. Just the best!! Terrific performance by a seriously talented bunch of people, could easily go see them at every performance they do. They came to the pub next door afterward and were happy to chat with fans too. Venue was great and sound really excellent. Everyone should go see this band, best thing you will see this year, without a doubt.

She Drew The Gun, The Bullingdon, Oxford - 1st March 2019

She Drew The Gun are a psych-pop band from the Wirral, fronted by singer-songwriter Louisa Roach and celebrated for their dreamy soundscapes, sharp social commentary and poetic, politically charged lyricism. Since emerging in the mid-2010s, the band have crafted a distinctive style that fuses hazy melodies with incisive observations about power, inequality and the human condition. Their debut album Memories of the Future (2016) introduced Roach’s hypnotic vocal delivery and the band’s atmospheric production, followed by Revolution of Mind (2018), a bold and urgent record that cemented their position as one of the most compelling voices in modern alternative music.

Their most recent album Behave Myself (2021) saw the band refine their sound with sleek electronics, psych-pop textures and a fearless sense of purpose. Known for potent singles including “Nothing Lasts” and the confrontational “Class War (How Much)”, She Drew The Gun have developed a reputation for music that is as thought-provoking as it is beautifully melodic. On stage, they are captivating and cinematic, with performances at Glastonbury and tours supporting The Coral and James showcasing their ability to move effortlessly between intimacy and intensity. With Roach’s vision at the helm, She Drew The Gun continue to push boundaries, offering political pop with heart, depth and imagination.
