Space are a Liverpudlian indie band best known for the hit singles "Female of the Species", "Me and You Versus the World", "Neighbourhood" and "Avenging Angels".
Formed in 1992, the five-piece band includes Tommy Scott (vocals, guitar), Jamie Murphy (lead guitar, vocals), Franny Griffiths (keys, turntables, backing vocals), Phil Hartley (bass) and Allan Jones (drums).
They have released the albums Spiders (1996), Tin Planet (1998), Suburban Rock 'n' Roll (2004), Attack of the Mutant 50ft Kebab (2014), Give Me Your Future (2017), Love You More than Football (2019) and Music for Pleasure Music for Pain (2021).
