Brilliant. Have the cds and the book so knew what to expect.
Have seen some of the group before. Wasn't disappointed and Jackie Morris's painting made it complete. Lovely venue. Outstanding musicians

Everything we’d hoped for and more
Loved the albums but watching it live made the songs come alive. The whole production was outstanding. Credit to the whole team, musicians and crew for making it a memorable evening. Thank you.

Spellbinding
This was an absolutely fantastic experience! I did not know anything about the project (the only people involved I'd heard at all before were Karine and Seckou, and that wasn't in person), and it's the best concert I've been to in years where I've not known what to expect. Musically it was already entrancing - some of the harmonies in particular were breathtaking - but the multimedia aspects really added to the experience, especially the live painting by "the boss" (Jackie). Two thumbs up is not enough.

Magical and moving
A superb performance - extremely powerful with consummate musicians and artist at the top of their game. Bring them back when they have released the hinged at third album.

I’d give it ten stars!
The Spell Songs combined phenomenal musicianship, singing , art and delivery of the wonderful words and images from Robert Macfarlane and Jackie Morris’s modern classic works. What a night.! Each of these musicians is a name and performer in their own right and they combine to produce a most wonderful sound , more than the sum of their parts. Sharing the introductions they modelled a proper troupe enjoying their opportunity to make music and memories together . And “the boss” Jackie’s painting presence was the icing on the cake.
