Prior to the event I couldn't fault the customer service from the venue. They were extremely helpful in accomodating my accessibility needs. And so to the show...Stornoway are one of those bands where if you pause for a second to glance round at the audience you will either see big smiles or mesmerised faces. They play well crafted, lyrically lovely songs which settle into your soul about love, nature and life. Every show is a great show. However, put them in a setting such as a church and there is just so much extra to admire. These venues suit Brian, Jon and Ollie's vocals so much. The addition of the choir joining them for a few old favourites and a few festive treats made for an even more special evening. If you haven't seen them give them a go as I promise the songs and the inbetween song chats including the regular Gregg's pasties updates are a thing of joy.

Such a lovely gig. Band were great, warm and approachable. Super atmosphere, and in a beautiful venue, the Oxford Town Hall. Great set list , all of my favourites to sing and dance along to.

Stornoway, Oxford Town Hall, Oxford - 21st October 2023
just seen Stornoway playing at the Bullingdon for the first time in 15 years. They are so bloody marvellous... warming up for their next tour. If you get a chance to see them. Go. Honestly. It'll warm your soul, lift your heart and remind you that Radiohead aren't the only great Oxford band. Yeah, I've had a couple of pints😁
