Talia Dean, known professionally as Talia, is a powerful British singer-songwriter whose distinctive voice and deeply personal storytelling have taken her from the stage of The X Factor to the UK music scene and, more recently, into worship music.
Originally from West London, Talia began performing from a young age, combining her talents as a singer, songwriter, actress and musician. In 2017, she captured national attention as a contestant on The X Factor, releasing her recording of “What Makes You Beautiful” following her appearance on the show.
Talia later became lead vocalist of the all-female band Kings Daughters, collaborating with Queen legend Brian May on songs including “Get Up” and “Dancing in the Rain.” Her solo work has continued to showcase her soulful, blues-influenced vocals, while her songwriting has also extended into film.
In recent years, Talia has entered a new chapter in her artistry, dedicating her music to faith and worship. Her 2024 single “You Made Your Bed” reached the Official UK Top 40, while her worship single “Praise Your Name,” featuring Brian May, reflects her renewed sense of purpose and spiritual journey.
