A brilliant night - no support act - and wonderful music all evening. Film and photographs were displayed at the back of the stage of The Beach Boys throughout the years. Songs that u can sing along to. It was one big fabulous party.

I saw the Boys in Wembley for their 50th anniversary tour with Brian and was underwhelmed. The older voices were not so strong and the venue meant I was straining my neck to see. However, a couple of years later and a more suitable venue and they were transformed! Mike was his cocky self and Bruce's voice was stronger for the gorgeous Disney Girls. The crowd were on their feet and singing along by the end. The inclusion of This is That was inspired and made up for the dodgy obscure songs that no one seemed to know. Their Hearts were Full of Spring was also a highlight. Go see them whilst they are still touring!

The Beach Boys are an iconic American rock band, widely regarded as one of the most influential acts in the history of popular music. Formed in 1961 by Brian Wilson, his brothers Carl and Dennis, cousin Mike Love, and friend Al Jardine, the band became synonymous with the California sound. Known for their lush harmonies, innovative production, and timeless melodies, The Beach Boys rose to fame with hits like "Good Vibrations," "Surfin' USA," and "Wouldn't It Be Nice." Their groundbreaking album Pet Sounds (1966) is often hailed as one of the greatest albums of all time, blending complex arrangements with introspective lyrics.
Throughout their career, The Beach Boys have played to massive audiences worldwide, headlining festivals such as Glastonbury and performing at renowned venues like the Royal Albert Hall. Their influence extends beyond music, shaping the very sound of pop and rock. Despite lineup changes over the years, the band’s enduring legacy continues to captivate new generations, with their harmonious blend of surf rock and pop innovation remaining a lasting cultural force.
