Just love The Beat , great musicians and another energetic show ,they love the audience participation, being in my 50’s which the majority of the audience were , I just wish I could hear more of the old tracks which is what we fell in love with , support act fantastic reggae /ska warm up

Seminal ska band The Beat also tap into punk and new wave. They are best known for the singles "Mirror in the Bathroom", "Save It for Later" and "Too Nice to Talk To".
Also known as The English Beat in the U.S. and Canada; the band was formed in 1978 and is based in Birmingham. The classic lineup consisted of Dave Wakeling (vocals, guitar), Ranking Roger (vocals), Andy Cox (guitar), David Steele (bass), Everett Morton (drums), and Lionel Augustus Martin AKA Saxa (saxophone).
The Beat have released four studio albums, including I Just Can't Stop It (1980), Wha'ppen? (1981), Special Beat Service (1982) and Here We Go Love (2018).
