Intimate event in this great new venue! Interspersed with anecdotes, The Dodge Brothers played a great set which kept the toes tapping. They clearly enjoy what they do immensely. Brilliant!

Metronome is a great new, intimate, modern, venue, which, if life was fair would take over from the Rescue Rooms as the medium sized 'go to' space for bands. And The Dodge Brothers, who I admittedly wanted to see for the Mark Kermode connection, were excellent - highly proficient musicians and song writers, with entertaining banter. I can highly recommend the band & the venue.

The Dodge Brothers are a British Americana and rockabilly band featuring film critic Mark Kermode on bass. Known for their energetic performances and authentic sound, they blend Americana with blues and skiffle, creating music that’s both vintage and lively. Tracks like "Train Kept A-Rollin’" and "The Ballad of El Goodo" reveal their commitment to the roots of American rock and roll, and their ability to bring it to life with modern flair.
The band regularly plays at festivals and events across the UK, including Maverick Festival and Country to Country, where their toe-tapping performances capture the excitement of classic Americana. With their authentic sound and love for American roots music, The Dodge Brothers offer a unique slice of Americana that resonates with British audiences.
