The Home Team, Rebellion, Manchester - 10th December 2024

Formed in 2013 by guitarist John Baran and drummer Daniel Matson, The Home Team quickly developed a sound that pushed beyond the boundaries of traditional pop-punk. With the addition of vocalist Brian Butcher in 2015 and bassist Ryne Olson in 2019, the Seattle-based band cemented a line-up built on chemistry, ambition and a shared love of genre-blurring songwriting. Combining huge hooks, slick grooves and explosive heaviness, The Home Team have carved out a distinctive space within modern alternative music, earning a devoted following through albums including Better Off, Slow Bloom and The Crucible Of Life.

Known for their electrifying live performances, The Home Team have toured alongside acts including Don Broco, State Champs, The Used and Dance Gavin Dance, building a reputation for shows packed with energy, chaos and singalong moments. Following successful tours across Japan, Australia and the US, plus appearances at major festivals including Slam Dunk Festival and Warped Tour, the band continue to push their “heavy pop” sound to bigger audiences around the world.
