The K's, NX, Newcastle Upon Tyne - 19th April 2024
Great venue, good sound, efficient, friendly, helpful and respectful staff who made you feel safe and secure. First time here and I was impressed. Nice, clean small venue. The groups were brilliant too. One minor criticism: the lights from the stage when pointing to the audiance were very bright. Can highly recommend Metronome and hope to be returning very soon.

The K’s are a four-piece rock band from Earlestown, renowned for their explosive live performances and unfiltered, anthemic sound. Channeling the spirit of British rock through razor-sharp hooks and heart-on-sleeve lyrics, they’ve carved out a reputation as one of the most exciting new bands in the UK. Bursting onto the scene with their breakout single Sarajevo, The K’s quickly won over fans with their blend of indie urgency, infectious energy and working-class authenticity — a sound built for singalongs and sweat-soaked venues alike.
Their relentless touring and word-of-mouth momentum have seen them headline sold-out shows across the country and share festival bills with some of Britain’s biggest acts. Drawing inspiration from Britpop’s swagger and modern indie’s bite, The K’s combine timeless songwriting with raw emotion, crafting music that speaks to a generation hungry for passion and honesty. With new releases and major tours ahead, their rise feels unstoppable — a genuine rock revival led by four musicians who play every note like they mean it.
