This is the second time I've seen this tremendous band live, and in the very same venue. It's so good to see bands like this play in my hometown, especially for the second time. As I'm usually disappointed when bands forget that the city of Sheffield exists and are never included in tour announcements. So I'm putting my money where my mouth is and going to more concerts here. It certainly helps when bands of this caliber are available. The support act was great too—Imogen and the Knife—who kicked off things wonderfully with their deeply atmospheric, alternative sound. As for the main event, The Last Dinner Party was unsurprisingly excellent. They are still running with the same ambitious stage presence and musicianship that I witnessed the first time around, now with a new album of songs to add to the roster. The setlist did not disappoint—I knew they had a lot more to offer from the first time I saw them live. So I'm now really looking forward to the future of this band and can't wait to see them live again (hopefully in Sheffield).

The Last Dinner Party , Octagon Centre, Sheffield - 21st November 2025
Took 4 older teens 17/15 mix of m/f one never listened to the last dinner party before and is now their biggest fan. Stood by the sound desk and the base was just incredible pumping pounding in chest. Wow 🤩 what a great job to the sound crew. The lead singer was fabulously charming and the lead vocalist and lead guitarist have wonderful vocal range. The performance was tight. The only slight dampner was the excessive gratitude to the long list on the floor of Everyone who made it happen by name. That’s definitely where a programme is useful. Otherwise excellent

Really enjoyed The Last Dinner Party. I previously had booked for Hammersmith Apollo but had a Quick Look to see if any tickets were available for The Octagon my local gig and to my great joy I managed to buy the only 2 that we’re available. Love the Octagon the right place to see new music. We had an amazing night watching this fantastic band perform the album in full pled a few extras. Can’t wait to do it all over again in London. Buying tickets from Gigantic was easy and also cheaper.
