Powerful, the realisation of a bucket dream
It was a privilege to be so fortunate to get a ticket to see The Pretenders in concert, one off my bucket list. I rocked to you in the eighties in secondary - good for Chrissi that you are still rockin' all round the world. I loved it. But Hymn to her is my favourite- please include. Since the MEN Tragedy, Manchester people, who are normally shining and happy people, never forget how brave public figures are, bringing together for peace. I love your professionalism but will never forget how you crack a smile when you know assuredly you have touched the heart of millions. Thank you.

Fabulous
Venue staff excellent guiding my partially sighted wife and myself safely in and out of the Barrowlands. Compassionate and understanding. Support band will go on to be huge. The Pretenders were brilliantly upbeat, laid back, polished, electrically energetic with their songs old and new and got the crowd (including us) going from the start.The front of house sound was clear, so good for the sound crew, who are probably used to bigger venues. The musicianship and Chrissie Hyndes vocals were amazing and the set list order along with an eclectic array of songs old and new made the gig a oneness between the Pretenders and the audience. Last time we saw them live was with Jim Honeyman-Scott in Glasgow, an amazing guitarist but so is the current guitarist. 🎸🙏

Good night showcasing some great songs and musicianship… and Chrissie’s vocals are a key factor in the experience

Wow they were great
Unsure what we were going to get but they were brilliant and Chrissie sung like she was 25and gave it 100% unbelievable
