Brilliant Show

Great venue (first time I have visited). Easy entry, good security, speedy to get in despite the queue. Nice seats giving a good view despite the posts around the place. Sisters were brilliant as usual, all lights and smoke. Loved it. Only downside is getting out....don't expect to go anywhere quickly.

The best concert.i attended, 80s old punk vibe still going strong

Perfect location and view, the band still rock like they are in the 80s. Andrew Eldritch was performing like he was 20 years old. Fantastic experience to remember

The Sisters of Mercy, Barrowland (DNU), Glasgow - 23rd November 2023

The Sisters of Mercy are a legendary British gothic rock band formed in Leeds in 1980. Known for their dark, atmospheric sound and enigmatic stage presence, the band became a cornerstone of the goth music movement. Fronted by Andrew Eldritch, the band's distinctive blend of deep, baritone vocals, brooding melodies, and driving drum machine rhythms earned them a devoted global following. Their music weaves elements of post-punk, hard rock, and electronic influences, creating a sound that is both haunting and hypnotic.

Their seminal albums, First and Last and Always (1985), Floodland (1987), and Vision Thing (1990), feature iconic tracks such as “Marian,” “Lucretia My Reflection,” and “This Corrosion.” These records solidified their reputation as one of the most innovative and enduring acts of the gothic rock genre. Known for their theatrical live performances and striking aesthetic, The Sisters of Mercy have maintained a cult status, continuing to tour and captivate audiences worldwide despite a long hiatus from studio recordings. Their legacy remains a defining influence on gothic and alternative music.
