Absolutely unbelievable

As the second hardcore gig I’ve gone to it was amazing. All three warm up bands, Graphic Nature, Unity TX, and Crystal Lake were incredible, brought so much energy and really got the crowd going. Then Thrown came on and blew us all away. 10/10 performance will definitely be seeing all of them again the next time they come to town.

Thrown, XOYO, Birmingham - 24th April 2025

Thrown is a rising force in the hardcore music scene, delivering an intense blend of ferocious riffs and emotionally raw lyrics. Hailing from Sweden, the band quickly gained attention with their debut EP, Extended Pain (2022), which features standout tracks like “Grayout” and “Parasite.” Their relentless energy and unapologetic honesty have struck a chord with fans, solidifying their place as one of the most exciting new acts in heavy music.

Known for their electrifying live shows, Thrown has played to packed crowds across the UK, including memorable sets at venues like The Underworld in London and the classic Star and Garter in Manchester. They’ve also made waves on the festival circuit, appearing at events like Outbreak Fest and Slam Dunk. Sharing stages with hardcore heavyweights such as Knocked Loose and Counterparts, Thrown has proven their ability to hold their own in the company of giants. Their meteoric rise shows no signs of slowing down, making them a band to watch.
