I've been following Toby's career ever since I stumbled upon Aquarius 3 years ago. I preordered House on Fire. Both are excellent albums. Last night was the first time I had him live and he didn't disappoint. You can see how much he loves his music. He's supported by a great band also. Met him afterwards and he's very approachable. 5 stars easily.

Toby Lee, Mac Arts, Galashiels - 13th November 2025
What a great night! Toby Lee is remarkable. His performance was absolutely fantastic. The support artists were also brilliant. Definitely worth turning out on a cold rainy night.

Toby Lee, The Crescent, York - 12th November 2025
Excellent performances by Toby Lee, James Emmanuel and Isabella Coulstock. Toby's band were outstanding and backed both Toby and James. Toby's style of music is very Blues Rock and James was leaning toward a more soulful approach. The Foxlowe Arts Centre was a relatively small venue but this allowed for a much closer feel to the gig. If you have the chance to see Toby, take it, you won't be sorry.

First saw Toby at Northern Kin. Seeing him up close and personal at Leek Foxlowe last night was amazing. Such a wonderful talented young man. Keep on rockin' Toby!

Toby Lee, The Bodega, Nottingham - 25th April 2025
Toby Lee belongs to a proud line of British blues guitarists that runs from John Mayall and Eric Clapton to Keith Richards and Slash. Warwickshire-born and largely self-taught, he picked up the guitar young and never looked back. At the age of ten, his heartfelt online tribute to B.B. King went viral, leading to an invitation from King's family to perform at the legendary B.B. King's Blues Club on Beale Street in Memphis. Around the same time he took to the West End stage in the original cast of School of Rock the Musical.
Since then, Toby has become one of the most exciting live players of his generation, sharing stages with heroes including Slash, Joe Bonamassa and Buddy Guy. He has toured widely as Jools Holland's special guest, appeared on Holland's New Year's Eve Hootenanny on BBC Two, and played major UK festivals such as Glastonbury, Isle of Wight and Love Supreme. His records include his debut Aquarius and the all-original House on Fire, and he is now signed to Fontana Records.
