Tom & Adam are an incredible duo and it was an absolute privilege to experience and hear the captivating voice of Gabrielle, Tom’s mesmerising opening act. I’d go to every gig on his tour if I could… it was brilliant from start to finish.

Tom Robinson with Adam Phillips , The Old Cold Store (next to the Vat & Fiddle), Nottingham - 31st October 2025
Tom and Adam were excellent and engaged with the audience throughout. Songs old, new and borrowed and we loved them all. The Cold Room was warm btw and an great gig location. We fell to sleep last night and woke up this morning with songs in our head. It has to be up there with the most enjoyable gigs we've experienced. Thanks Tom, you rock:)

Tom Robinson is a British singer-songwriter, broadcaster and activist whose work has left a lasting mark on the UK’s musical and cultural landscape. Rising to prominence in the late seventies with the Tom Robinson Band, he became known for his fusion of punk energy, sharp social commentary and deeply human songwriting. Songs such as “2-4-6-8 Motorway”, “Glad to Be Gay” and “Power in the Darkness” became anthems for inclusivity and political engagement, cementing his reputation as an artist unafraid to speak truth to power. Throughout his career, Robinson has continued to write with clarity, wit and a commitment to championing unheard voices.
Beyond performing, Robinson has become one of the UK’s most respected radio presenters, supporting emerging musicians and giving platforms to artists across genres through his long-standing work in broadcasting. His programmes have helped shape the nation’s understanding of new music, reflecting his belief in community, curiosity and the power of songs to change lives. Whether on stage or on air, Tom Robinson remains a passionate advocate for equality, creativity and the enduring spirit of independent music.
