Brought 3 sons and a friend along to see Tony Law. He never disappoints, and now he's gained another 3 fans. You can't describe Tony's act, but I would encourage everyone to see him. Howled with laughter again. Must give a mention to Jan (not Jen as she was billed, lazy mistake and disrespectful) Ravens who played a blinder. She was an absolute delight. Her impressions were scarily accurate, and material absolutely bang on topic. Her musical tribute to Victoria Wood made me laugh, and also shed a tear.

Tony Law + Jen Ravens, The Big Difference (formerly The Cookie), Leicester - 11th July 2017
Jan (not Jen!) Ravens was great, vast array of impressions, including a brilliant tribute to Victoria Wood, and even Penelope Wilton. Very talented and very funny. Tony Law was a different kind of funny. From the moment he strode onto the stage in his very small shorts he was 100mph. Well aware of what he was doing, the word surreal comes closest but doesn't really nail it. Tales of time travel centred around the 1972 Palm Springs Open trampolining semi-final. I haven't laughed so long and hard for ages. An absolute delight, the only disappointment was the half-full venue. Both acts will be in Edinburgh and I thoroughly recommend both. They will both make you laugh, but in very different ways.
