Excellent show

Undeath, The Bodega, Nottingham - 15th August 2025
Formed in Rochester, New York, in 2018, Undeath have quickly become one of modern death metal's most talked-about names, with a sound that's as fun as it is ferocious. Their debut, Lesions of a Different Kind (2020), won devoted fans and glowing reviews, and follow-up It's Time... To Rise from the Grave went one better, topping Decibel Magazine's albums of 2022 and earning Best New Music from Pitchfork. Third album More Insane (2024) cranks everything up again — bigger, brighter and every bit as depraved.
What really sets Undeath apart is the live show. With more than 250 gigs under their belts, and stages shared with the likes of Exodus, Suffocation and The Black Dahlia Murder, they've built a reputation for pit-friendly hooks and gleeful, gore-soaked chaos. UK crowds have taken them to heart, whether tearing it up at Download and Damnation or touring in support of Municipal Waste. Expect huge riffs, big choruses and songs like "Rise from the Grave", "Necrobionics" and "Brandish the Blade" that you'll be shouting long after the lights come up.
