Echo & The Bunnymen, Rock City, Nottingham - 12th March 2024

Echo & The Bunnymen are one of the most influential bands to emerge from the UK’s post-punk scene. Formed in Liverpool in 1978, they gained a cult following with their moody, atmospheric sound, characterised by haunting vocals and lush, layered instrumentation. Their breakthrough album Ocean Rain (1984) featured timeless hits like “The Killing Moon” and “Seven Seas”, establishing them as a defining band of the era. Over the decades, they have released 13 studio albums, maintaining their relevance with a sound that continues to resonate.

The band’s live shows are legendary, with frontman Ian McCulloch’s distinctive voice captivating audiences. Echo & The Bunnymen have headlined some of the biggest festivals in the UK, including Glastonbury, Isle of Wight, and Latitude. Whether performing at intimate venues or on grand stages, they deliver performances that are both nostalgic and fresh, solidifying their status as icons of British rock.
