Went to The Level in Nottingham. Brilliant Venue. One of my Fave Nottingham venues. Baby bird were good, but Echobelly were Awesome. At the Level again on Remembrance Sunday to watch The Bluetones. Then back at The Level just before Christmas for Dodgy and Black Grape.

Echobelly - "ON" 30th Anniversary Tour, The Level, Nottingham - 8th November 2025
A superb night! Echobelly on top form despite Sonia seemingly suffering some throat issues. She carried on regardless giving a top performance, belting out singles, fan favourites and some acoustic versions before finishing on the sublime ‘Dark therapy’. A special and magical night for all who attended. Highly recommend to anyone who loved the mid to late 90s indie rock/Britpop era. 🖤

Echobelly, Metronome Nottingham, Nottingham - 27th November 2024
A great venue to see live acts with terrific range. Echobelly were always one of the most interesting acts of the Britpop era and they show this every time they play.

Echobelly, The Corn Exchange, Newport - 15th November 2024
Echobelly, the British indie rock band formed in the early 1990s, has left an indelible mark on the alternative music scene with their distinctive sound and evocative lyrics. Led by vocalist Sonya Madan and guitarist Glenn Johansson, Echobelly's music is characterized by catchy melodies, shimmering guitars, and Madan's powerful vocals.
Emerging during the Britpop era, Echobelly quickly gained attention for their infectious energy and socially conscious lyrics. Tracks like "Great Things" and "King of the Kerb" became anthems for a generation, blending elements of punk, pop, and shoegaze into a sound that was uniquely their own.
With each album, Echobelly continued to evolve their sound, exploring themes of identity, politics, and personal struggle with honesty and vulnerability. Madan's introspective lyrics and emotive delivery resonated with fans around the world, earning the band a devoted following and critical acclaim.
Despite lineup changes and industry challenges, Echobelly's legacy as one of the most influential bands of the 90s remains intact. Their music continues to inspire and uplift listeners, reminding us of the power of music to transcend boundaries and connect us on a deeper level.
