Incredible musicianship
Firmament were incredible live. Their EP that released the day before was played cover to cover, and they allowed the crowd to pick one of the covers they played, which was great. The room was packed out too, which was deserving of the performance they put on

Nottingham's Firmament have been described as "technical, heavy, a little proggy" and having "plenty of catchiness throughout" in their sound, with their live performances praised as “electrifying” and “brimming with energy and passion” by reviewers.
Their debut EP Ashes & Awakenings was lauded for its “screaming riffs that make the body shake, powerful vocals, and anthemic choruses” and praised for its “ability to jump between tones in a simple and masterful way”.
Firmament have enjoyed comparisons with Geezer Butler for their lyrical contributions; “Adele’s compelling vocals… blending magically with a veritable earthquake of screaming guitars and thunderous bass” and compliments for their stagecraft; “That enjoyment carries straight over into the live setting too…their combination of big riffs, soaring twin lead guitar harmonies, and melodic vocals consistently hits hard on stage” from reviewers.
