Editors, The National Stadium, Dublin - 30th January 2023

Brilliant gig

Editors never fail to deliver and sounded better than ever at this gig. The new songs are bursting with energy and their new take in ‘Violence’ was epic!

Editors, Rock City, Nottingham - 25th January 2023

Another brilliant Editors concert

The new electronic sound complements the great guitar based songs from the first two fantastic albums. This is the fifth time that I have seen Editors at Rock City and they are always excellent.

Editors, Rock City, Nottingham - 25th January 2023

Editors are a Birmingham-based band, known for their brooding and atmospheric sound.

Their synth-laden sound is rooted in post-punk revival, and helped launch their 2005 debut album The Back Room into the UK top 5, with indie smash hits such as "Munich" and "Blood". Their stellar debut earned them a nomination for a Mercury Prize in 2006, as well as making the band a household name within the scene.

Their sound is characterised by frontman Tom Smith's moody, emotive vocals, that have drawn comparisons to the icons of post-punk, Joy Division. Over the years, Editors' sound has evolved from guitar-driven post-punk to a more synth-heavy, industrial sound, striking a balance between rock and electronic. By marrying dark, angular rock with a sharp pop sense, Editors have maintained their distinct sound.
